Director of Government Relations North America

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Government Relations to lead our North America government relations efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a government relations strategy that supports the company's business objectives and promotes a positive image of the company among government officials and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a government relations strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, stakeholders, and other key influencers
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on government relations matters
- Identify and pursue opportunities to advance the company's interests with government agencies and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement government relations initiatives
- Stay up-to-date on government policies, regulations, and trends that impact the company's business

- This is a full-time position based in Washington, D.C.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. politics, international relations, public policy)
- 8+ years of experience in government relations, with a focus on North America
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing government relations strategies
- Strong understanding of government policies, regulations, and trends that impact the company's business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to travel frequently

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. politics, international relations, public policy)
- 10+ years of experience in government relations, with a focus on North America
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing government relations strategies
- Strong understanding of government policies, regulations, and trends that impact the company's business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to travel frequently

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
- Bonus: up to 20% of salary
