Director of Development

• Raise $3 million in contributed revenue over two fiscal years through major gifts, foundation grants, and corporate partnerships.
• Build and execute a comprehensive, sustainable fundraising strategy to ensure long-term financial health.
• Lead donor stewardship, board engagement, and community representation to deepen philanthropic relationships.

This role directly supports Empowered by Light's mission to accelerate the transition to clean energy by securing the financial resources needed to expand programs and partnerships, creating positive environmental and social change.

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of fundraising experience, including major gifts and institutional giving.
• Demonstrated success in closing major gifts and securing foundation funding.
• Experience building donor relationships and managing budgets in a nonprofit environment.
• Valid driver's license required; existing Bay Area donor relationships preferred.

Remote position with preference for San Francisco Bay Area; regular in-person engagement with donors and partners. Compensation details not specified.
