Director of Development

Core responsibilities:

• Lead donor cultivation and stewardship, design and grow a Major Gifts program
• Manage AFSO's donor CRM, including donor segmentation, reporting, and data integrity
• Plan and manage fundraising campaigns or events, coordinate volunteer and Board involvement
• Research and track grant opportunities, coordinate application materials and reporting
• Provide strategic direction for AFSO's social media and digital outreach, maintain website and Annual Report

This role creates positive change by building sustainable funding to educate university women in Afghanistan, ultimately contributing to the development of future leaders who can shape the country's future.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Experience in fundraising strategy development and donor relationship management
• Proficiency with donor CRM systems and donor data management
• Experience with grant research, application, and reporting processes
• Skills in communications, social media strategy, and digital outreach
• Ability to work closely with Executive Director and Board in a leadership role
