Director of Corporate Development

• Establish a clear framework for evaluating non-organic growth opportunities.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize corporate development opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, new business opportunities, and acquisitions.
• Lead strategic assessments of new opportunities - utilizing financial analysis, valuation, and modeling tools for potential transactions; assess commercial, technical, regulatory, and execution risks.
• Support corporate and business-unit strategy development through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and scenario planning.

This role helps scale CO280's carbon removal projects to deliver durable climate impact, radically altering the trajectory of climate change through strategic growth initiatives.

• 7–10+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and executing complex transactions or strategic initiatives such as M&A deals, infrastructure asset development, or new market investment opportunities.
• Advanced Excel and proficiency in financial modeling for transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
