What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Leading Oklo's business development strategy for defense, national security, and federal agencies, managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Developing and negotiating commercial agreements, preparing proposals, and leading customer engagements with government stakeholders
  • Building and leading a business development team focused on federal markets, coordinating with internal technical and executive teams
  • Managing capture strategy and opportunity prioritization for near-term and long-term federal programs

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Experience leading business development or capture efforts in defense, national security, or federal markets, particularly in hard tech, energy, or infrastructure
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition processes (DoD, DoE, DHS) and government contracting
  • Understanding of military installation energy resilience requirements and DoD energy programs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with ability to build trust with senior government stakeholders
