Director - Expanding Wholesale Markets, MISO/SPP

• Lead engagement in MISO and SPP stakeholder processes to remove barriers and expand opportunities for advanced energy technologies.
• Develop and implement strategies, build relationships with RTO staff and stakeholders, and advocate for market reforms.
• Manage and mentor team members, and support United's annual portfolio planning process.

This role accelerates the transition to a clean energy economy by advocating for market reforms that enable advanced energy technologies to compete in wholesale electricity markets, reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainability.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, Public Policy or equivalent experience; Master's degree a plus.
• 7-10 years of professional experience with RTOs/ISOs and/or FERC; MISO/SPP region experience a plus.
• Experience managing and training a team.
• Exceptional professional writing skills, particularly regulatory filings.
