Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive event strategy for both in-person and virtual events, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and program needs
  • Lead event planning and execution, including logistics management, venue coordination, registration, and attendee communication for national conferences and convenings
  • Manage event budgets, finances, and operations, including contract management, sponsorship tracking, and resource allocation
  • Supervise the events manager, provide coaching and professional development, and foster a collaborative team culture

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a director-level or similarly scoped role with experience developing organizational event strategy and delivering high-quality events
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute both virtual and in-person events with excellence, including experience with event tools like Zoom and registration systems
  • Robust experience with budget management and development, comfortable working with systems like bill.com and Excel
  • Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills with a solution-oriented approach and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
