Director Donor & Award Compliance

Core responsibilities:

• Design and implement systems, processes, and tools to ensure compliance with award terms, regulations, and organizational policies
• Provide expert guidance on donor rules and regulations for diverse award instruments including grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements
• Lead the contracting lifecycle including proper start-up and closeout of awards, addressing contractual disputes, and building capacity of country teams
• Work with programs and fundraising teams to review solicitations and ensure compliant, responsive, and competitive proposals

This role ensures Last Mile Health maintains compliance with donor regulations, enabling the organization to effectively deliver healthcare services to remote communities while building sustainable systems for award management and risk mitigation.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Public Administration
• Extensive experience with institutional donors including USG, World Bank, UNICEF, Global Fund, FCDO, etc.
• Experience in an international development organization working in contract, grant, and awards management
• Experience working in INGOs or similar multicultural environments with ability to build authentic relationships across cultural backgrounds

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $90,966 - $118,531 USD dependent upon experience
