Director Donor & Award Compliance

Core responsibilities:

• Design and implement donor compliance systems, policies, and tools to ensure accountability, transparency, and efficiency
• Provide expert guidance on donor regulations and award terms for grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements from entities like US Government, European agencies, foundations, and international donors
• Oversee grant, sub-grant, and contract administration including start-up, closeout, dispute resolution, and capacity building for country teams
• Support proposal development by reviewing solicitations, ensuring compliance, and leading donor negotiations

This role ensures Last Mile Health maintains donor compliance and effective award management, enabling the organization to continue delivering life-saving healthcare services to remote communities while building sustainable systems for future growth.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Public Administration
• Extensive experience with institutional donors including USG, World Bank, UNICEF, Global Fund, FCDO
• Experience in international development organization working in contract, grant, and awards management
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and multicultural environments with strong ethical standards and confidentiality

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $90,966 - $113,018 USD (dependent on experience)
