Director, Clean Energy

About the Job

We are seeking a Director, Clean Energy to join our team at Tellus Markets. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our clean energy efforts and developing strategies to drive growth and innovation in this space. You will work closely with our sustainability teams to identify opportunities for decarbonization and develop solutions to help our clients achieve their climate goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of our clean energy strategy and drive growth in this area
• Collaborate with our sustainability teams to identify opportunities for decarbonization and develop solutions to help our clients achieve their climate goals
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry experts
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the clean energy space and apply this knowledge to inform our strategy and decision-making

This role expands access to clean power through Tellus PPA, a digital marketplace that simplifies and enables enterprise climate action, contributing to the transition to renewable energy.

• 3-5 years of experience in power markets, predominantly in renewable power
• 3 years of experience in power origination or sales
• Deep market experience and contacts in renewable power markets
• Strong understanding of wholesale power markets combined with significant renewable power market experience
• Analytically strong with exceptional analytic skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate independently and take on senior leadership responsibilities

Compensation commensurate with experience, expected to include base salary, bonus, and equity components.
