What you will drive

  • Lead the development and implementation of agricultural policy strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture, focusing on cropland and fertilizer use.
  • Guide strategy for analyzing complex agriculture issues and designing solutions that align economic incentives with environmental health.
  • Serve as a lead authority on agricultural policy, representing EDF in various forums and engaging with policymakers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including drafting proposals, cultivating donor relationships, and managing budgets.

What makes you a great fit

  • 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.

  • Strong track record of planning, developing, and implementing strategic programs across complex institutional landscapes.
  • Proven ability to lead small teams, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
