Director Advocacy and Strategic Partnerships

Core responsibilities:

• Lead & coordinate policy, advocacy, and influencing efforts at local and national levels to ensure the adoption of sustainable, high-impact community health policies, financing, and practices focused on a professionalized community health workforce.
• Lead the country health financing function to drive domestic resource mobilization by engaging with key government ministries and partners to influence budget decisions, strengthen integration of community health into national and regional health financing frameworks, and secure the disbursement of sustainable public funding for community health programming.
• Provide oversight and management of strategic partnerships with stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, and health implementing partners, to influence stakeholder priorities and advance LG's advocacy and financing objectives.
• Serve as a strategic representative of LG, including in high-level meetings and forums, promoting LG's brand and approach to position the organization as a thought leader and trusted partner to government and priority stakeholders.
