Director, Accounting

Core responsibilities:

• Consolidation of Global results with appropriate reviews of transfer pricing and intercompany transactions
• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows
• Oversee and support the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity

This role helps Bird transform urban mobility by enabling cleaner, more connected cities through reliable financial operations that support the company's mission of reducing carbon emissions and creating sustainable transportation solutions.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline
• CPA certification or CA (chartered accountant)
• Big 4 public accounting experience with strong technical accounting skills
• 10+ years of progressive work experience including at Sr. Manager level and higher
• Experience working for an international firm with multi-country presence

Compensation and perks:

• Target Salary Hiring Range: $164,000 - $195,000
