Digital Media Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and execute FFJC's digital media and email marketing strategy, including social media, online advertising, and website management
• Create engaging written, visual, and video content for various digital platforms to increase visibility and impact
• Monitor and evaluate performance of all digital media content, compile monthly reports, and make recommendations for future strategy
• Manage FFJC's email program including newsletters and action alerts, and oversee relationships with developers and external consultants

This role advances FFJC's mission to end governments' use of fines and fees to profit off vulnerable populations by increasing the visibility and impact of their work through strategic digital media, helping achieve legislative victories and reform the justice system.

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years in professional communications managing digital content and social media platforms, or Bachelor's degree plus 3 years experience
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
• Experience with digital media CMS software, analytics tools, and email campaigns (MailChimp preferred)
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to write clear, compelling copy for different digital formats
• Familiarity with creating, editing, and managing posts on WordPress sites

This is a full-time remote position within the continental United States with core hours from 12-4pm ET Monday through Friday and flexible remaining hours. The position includes occasional domestic travel for meetings and two mandatory staff retreats.

The Fines and Fees Justice Center works to end the practice of governments using fines and fees to profit off vulnerable populations by empowering state and local efforts to end fees in the justice system and ensure fines are fair and equitably imposed.
