Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and impactful digital content that reflects MADRE's mission and brand identity, including writing, designing visual assets, and creating infographics, carousels, short-form video, and multimedia content
  • Manage MADRE's presence across social media platforms, including scheduling posts, designing graphics, and engaging with the audience to further MADRE's mission and goals
  • Collaborate with team members and external vendors to maintain MADRE's website, ensuring visual consistency, accessibility, and alignment with current campaigns and organizational goals
  • Track and analyze web and social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of written and visual content, developing reports with data-driven insights and recommendations

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in digital content creation, graphic design, social media management, or a similar role combining strategy, storytelling, and execution
  • Ability to design high-quality visuals with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and/or Figma
  • Excellent written communication skills and proficiency in using social media platforms, content management systems, and digital project management tools

Salary: $93,000 (non-negotiable). This is a full-time, union-represented position with exempt status.
