Digital Communications Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing and social media strategies to increase brand awareness, grow participant/funder base, and drive program participation
• Manage and maintain NLA's and TCS's digital communication channels including email campaigns, social media accounts, and websites using WordPress CMS
• Create compelling content, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular reports on email campaigns, social media engagement, and website traffic
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital communications align with broader organizational campaigns and goals

This role creates positive change by driving digital communications that help social justice organizations build operational strength, manage risk, and scale their impact to dismantle oppressive structures and achieve systemic change.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English Literature, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in digital communications/marketing with focus on email marketing and social media management
• Expert proficiency with major email marketing platforms (e.g., Active Campaign, Mailchimp) and strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and CMS
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with ability to craft compelling messages and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
