Digital Associate, Grassroots Program

Core responsibilities:

• Assist—and at times lead—in producing fundraising materials and digital campaigns (emails, ads, landing pages, graphics) that drive conversions
• Create content that moves people from supporters to donors and assist in creating content that converts online likes and comments to small-dollar and recurring donors
• Own implementation of campaigns/programs and measuring success, including running A/B tests and reporting insights
• Maintain an integrated calendar across social media, email, SMS, Substack, and web updates to manage content flow and ensure message discipline

This role creates positive change by using digital channels to mobilize donors, volunteers, and candidates to build durable political power from the ground up, making Democrats competitive everywhere and shifting power for the long term.

Required qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in creating quality content for social media, email, and digital organizing—internships and volunteer experience count
• Commitment to CER's mission of making Democrats competitive everywhere, with values-driven, accountable, collaborative and creative approach
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and capacity to manage complex workflows with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Fluent in social media communication and best practices to engage thoughtfully and creatively in trending content

Full year equivalent salary of $60,000 - $65,000, depending on experience, as part of a transparent salary structure with clear levels of advancement. Full time positions are eligible for an additional geographic Cost-of-Living salary adjustment depending on candidate location, excellent health, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) matching, and unlimited Paid Time Off (vacation time is limited during Election Sprint, August 24-November 3). Part time positions are eligible for accrued Paid Sick Time, Paid Holidays, and after 90 days, if you work more than 30 hours a week on average, you will also be eligible for health, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) matching, and accrued Paid Time Off.
