DevOps Cloud Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain deployment workflows for cloud applications on Google Cloud.
• Build and manage Kubernetes-based deployment infrastructure with focus on reliability and operational clarity.
• Own and improve GitOps and continuous delivery processes using ArgoCD, Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility for cloud-hosted services.

This role enables sustainable societies by ensuring reliable and efficient cloud infrastructure for Wärtsilä's marine and energy solutions, contributing to decarbonisation and a more sustainable future.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps with ArgoCD.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Ability to write automation scripts and support cloud applications (Node.js, Go, Python, or Java).
