About
Development & Strategic Partnerships Manager
The Development & Strategic Partnerships Manager will play a critical role in advancing the mission of A2 by managing grant lifecycle, cultivating partnerships, and developing fundraising strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the grant lifecycle, including:
- Prospect research
- Proposal development
- Reporting
- Performance tracking
- Compliance with deliverables
- Proactively identify, cultivate, and engage potential partners to:
- Advance A2's mission
- Expand support for member groups
- Elevate A2's national visibility
- Design and implement a comprehensive individual giving strategy
- Manage relationships with individual donors
- Assist the Executive Director as needed
- Develop fundraising collateral such as:
- Infographics
- One-pagers
- Presentations
Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Experience in grant management, fundraising, and partnership development
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with fundraising software and tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with donor management software
- Knowledge of the non-profit sector and current trends in fundraising and partnership development
- Familiarity with social media and digital fundraising strategies

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of three years' experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or grant management with a proven track record of securing grants and individual gifts
- Strong grant writing and editing skills, with experience preparing successful proposals and reports
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, capture data, and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a natural warmth and authenticity that fosters trust and genuine connection with funders, donors, partners, and A2 members
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
- Passion for environmental and social justice, systems change, and community power building
Benefits

Salary range of 70K to 80K, plus benefits. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) and primarily remote.
