Mission
What you will drive
The Development Officer will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan including major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, planned giving, and special events
- Drive fundraising strategy and prospecting by creating a 3-5 year strategic plan and identifying new funding partners
- Deepen current foundation partnerships by managing a portfolio of relationships and serving as primary point of contact
- Handle grants administration and tracking including donor data management, grant deliverables, and compliance with funder requirements

What makes you a great fit
The ideal candidate must have:
- 5+ years of fundraising leadership experience in movement building organizations with proven track record of delivering ~$3M+ annual budgets
- Established donor connections and persistence to seek new fundraising pathways in challenging environments
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as an adept storyteller with attention to detail
- Mission alignment with innovative, entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to learning and growth
