Development Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Support implementation of Worldmaker's annual fundraising plan and build/manage a portfolio of mid- to major-level donors
• Draft donor outreach materials, impact updates, thank-you letters, and campaign communications
• Maintain accurate donor and grant records in the CRM and produce regular reports on fundraising progress
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure development activities align with organizational priorities

This role advances Worldmaker's mission of building resilient individuals and communities by expanding philanthropic support and strengthening donor relationships to fund resilience-building programs.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, grant writing, or related field
• Strong writing and editing skills with experience preparing donor communications and grant proposals
• Proficiency using technology and CRM experience managing donor or grant data
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Compensation & Contract Structure:

• Part-time contract: 30 hours/week
• Remote role with flexible schedule
• Compensation: $4,000/month base with opportunity for performance-based bonuses
• Occasional travel for team or donor convenings (expenses approved in advance)
