What you will drive
About
The Development Manager will play a key role in executing the annual fundraising plan and maintaining a clear fundraising pipeline. This position will lead grant writing and grants management, support donor stewardship, and manage donor database and development operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to execute the annual fundraising plan and maintain a clear fundraising pipeline
- Lead grant writing and grants management, including researching prospects, writing proposals, and managing grant calendars
- Support donor stewardship, cultivation, and events, including individual giving programs and donor-focused events
- Manage donor database and development operations, ensuring accurate records and efficient systems
Requirements
- Collaborative and strategic thinker with experience in fundraising and development
- Strong grant writing and management skills
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with donor database management and development operations
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends
- Experience with event planning and execution

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 3+ years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or related fields; experience in movement-building or Reproductive Justice settings preferred
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, especially for grants and donor communications
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience with donor databases (e.g., EveryAction, Bonterra, Bloomerang, Salesforce) strongly preferred
