Development Manager

• Identify, originate, and evaluate new greenfield, acquisition, and co-development opportunities for renewable energy projects in the UK.
• Manage projects through all development phases from early-stage concept to ready-to-build status, securing key consents and agreements.
• Lead stakeholder and community engagement to build strong relationships and secure backing for projects.
• Oversee planning applications, manage external consultants, and ensure compliance with HSQE policies.

This role directly contributes to the expansion of renewable energy capacity in the UK, accelerating the transition to clean energy and reducing carbon emissions, while fostering positive relationships with local communities.

• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, or a related discipline.
• Typically 4–7 years’ experience in renewable energy development.
• Strong understanding of UK planning systems, grid processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and commercial awareness skills.
