What you will drive
Bash Advisory is a boutique consulting firm serving nonprofit organizations in the United States and beyond. At this time, we seek a manager to assist nonprofit media organizations across the country with identifying prospective philanthropic supporters and engaging donors and funders to achieve their missions. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is a stronger writer, and has demonstrated success in a fundraising role or an interest in fundraising with strategy experience gained at a nonprofit or membership organization. Responsibilities Work with clients to identify strategic priorities and align funder and donor pipelines with areas of focus Maintain a calendar of grant and reporting deadlines, and ensure you develop and gather the materials needed to meet those deadlines Draft and submit proposal narratives that offer a compelling case for supporting clients’ work Create strong cases for support, organizational overviews, and fund narratives, in addition to other donor- and funder-facing materials that outline clients’ value propositions, work, and impact Develop ongoing strategic communication that engages funders and donors, including impact reports, email series, and appeals Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required A minimum of four years working within a nonprofit organization or newsroom Strong written communication skills, with ability to develop compelling narratives infused with research Flexibility and the ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines Superior organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment and with diverse internal and external partners Ability to represent Bash Advisory professionally and positively at all times, bringing the highest quality service and professionalism to the clients’ experiences An interest in documentary film or journalism Salary and Benefits Salary is $75,000-$85,000 based on experience and qualifications. Bash Advisory provides a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance; paid time off (15 vacation days, 3 personal days, 12 sick days, and 13 flexible holidays); and a voluntary 401(k) plan with employer match.
