Development Manager

• Own grant writing and institutional giving portfolio, including research, proposal writing, tracking, and reporting.
• Build and manage a new mid-size individual donor program from the ground up.
• Support major donor cultivation and stewardship alongside the Senior Director of Development.
• Supervise the Development Marketing Specialist and coordinate digital fundraising campaigns.

This role directly advances racial, climate, and economic justice by securing funding for Hip Hop Caucus's campaigns and advocacy, amplifying the voices of communities of color in critical social and environmental movements.

• 3-5 years of nonprofit development experience with direct grant writing and institutional funder relationships.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with CRM/fundraising database (EveryAction/NGP VAN strongly preferred).
• Strong writing and proofreading skills; experience with donor-facing materials.

Salary range: $80,000-$95,000. Comprehensive benefits package. Remote culture with physical offices in Los Angeles, CA, and Washington, DC. Location-flexible with preference for office locations or metro Atlanta area.
