Development Manager for Events and Leadership Circle(s)

Core responsibilities:

• Plan and execute Emerge's national and regional special events, serving as project manager for major annual events
• Manage donor-facing leadership programs including the Emerge Young Leaders Program and other affinity-based giving circles
• Oversee consultants and vendors, and ensure seamless coordination across several departments
• Build engagement pathways that connect events to long-term donor relationships

This role supports Emerge's mission to change the face of politics and create an inclusive democracy by building engagement pathways that connect events to long-term donor relationships, ultimately helping recruit, train, and support Democratic women who want to run for office and win.

Required qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and relational skills, including competency working cross-culturally and in diverse teams
• Experience managing digital and grassroots fundraising campaigns
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent project management skills with demonstrated flexibility in problem-solving
• Proven track record of excellent follow-through and accountability
