Development Engineer

Project Development

• Design and engineer utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects in early and mid-stage development
• Develop preliminary layouts, energy models, equipment specifications, and design calculations to support EPC pricing, RFP submittals, permitting, and due diligence
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to review design packages and ensure technical accuracy
• Support engineering innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and driving design optimizations to reduce costs and improve reliability

This role contributes to the global energy revolution by designing renewable energy projects that accelerate decarbonization and help meet Paris Agreement goals, providing clean electricity to millions of customers worldwide.

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field
• 3+ years of professional experience in solar PV system design, development, construction, and analysis
• Proficiency in PV system design including NEC requirements, equipment selection, grounding methodologies, and short circuit analysis
• Experience with medium voltage collector system design and ability to work in a team environment

Expected salary range: $96,000 - $115,175 annually. Total compensation may include annual bonus, full range of medical, dental, vision, life, and financial benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and various paid time off benefits (vacation, sick time, parental leave).
