Development Director

• Drive fundraising strategies and provide innovative leadership to advance Swipe Out Hunger's mission.
• Plan, organize, and direct fundraising including foundation, corporate, and individual revenue streams.
• Manage identification, research, relationship-building, solicitation, and stewardship of donors.
• Supervise and mentor the Development Department, overseeing staff performance and budgets.

This role directly supports the movement to end college student hunger by securing resources that enable Swipe Out Hunger to provide millions of meals and advocate for systemic change.

• 5+ years of professional fundraising experience with a history of closing five- and six-figure gifts.
• Knowledge of fundraising techniques, particularly major gift fundraising.
• Proficiency with nonprofit CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Raiser's Edge).
• Strong project management, interpersonal, and writing skills.

Full-time, exempt position with a salary of $85,000. Benefits include unlimited PTO, 100% coverage for medical, dental, and vision, 401K retirement matching after 6 months, flex time, $500/year professional development stipend, and $400 'Work Comfortably from Home' fund.
