Development Director

Core responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Executive Director and other stakeholders to create and implement Stop Predatory Gambling's annual fundraising strategy
• Research, identify, and solicit new funding sources, including grants and individual donors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, sponsors, and prospective supporters
• Plan and execute fundraising events, working with event committees, vendors, volunteers, and other stakeholders

This role creates positive change by growing fundraising to fuel a national movement addressing predatory gambling, which harms the financial, social, and mental well-being of millions of Americans, through advocacy, education, and outreach.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising
• Excellent writing skills and communication/interpersonal abilities
• Proven organizational, time-management, and project management skills
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and experience with prospecting tools

Compensation: $75,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience with opportunities for advancement as the organization grows.
