Development Director

• Design and implement a comprehensive development strategy covering foundation grants, government funding, corporate sponsorships, earned revenue, in-kind donations, and individual gifts.
• Own the full grants lifecycle: prospect research, proposal writing, submission, renewals, and funder relationships.
• Lead corporate partnerships and sponsorships, and support individual giving and blended finance initiatives.

This role directly fuels Footprint Project's mission to deploy sustainable energy solutions in disaster response, reducing fossil fuel use and empowering community resilience.

• At least 3 years of nonprofit development experience with a track record of securing five- and six-figure grants.
• Experience supervising staff and managing grant budgets.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and CRM proficiency.

Starting at $70,000/year FTE salary (depending on experience).
