How to Apply for Development Database & Donor Relations Coordinator
at Mercado Global
🏢 About Mercado Global
Mercado Global is a unique nonprofit bridging ethical fashion and women's economic empowerment by partnering with major brands to help Indigenous women in Latin America earn fair income and lead in their communities. Working here means directly contributing to a mission that combines social impact with the fashion industry's sustainability movement.
About This Role
This role is the backbone of Mercado Global's development operations, ensuring accurate donation tracking and data integrity across Salesforce, Paybee, and Donorbox. You'll also personally steward a portfolio of smaller and monthly donors, making them feel connected to the mission—a direct link between data management and relationship-building.
💡 A Day in the Life
You'll start by reviewing donation entries from the previous day, ensuring accuracy across Salesforce, Paybee, and Donorbox. Mid-morning, you might pull a pipeline report for the development team and then draft personalized thank-you emails to monthly donors. Afternoons could involve updating donor profiles, planning a small-donor engagement campaign, or debriefing with the team on fundraising progress.
