Development Coordinator

About the Role

The Development Coordinator will play a key role in overseeing donor data management and providing administrative support to the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of donor data management, ensuring records are organized, updated, and accurate for all current Zinc Collective programs and future long-term focused projects
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the development team, particularly in managing donor relations and fundraising activities
• Assist the development team with the identification, cultivation and solicitation of prospects for call time, events, and individual meeting outreach

This role creates positive change by supporting fundraising operations that help advance Democratic politics and work toward persistent Democratic majorities, allowing the organization to affect change in the Democratic space.

Required skills and experience:

• 2-4 years of professional experience as a marketing or development/finance assistant on a political campaign or at a non-profit or mission driven organization
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong time management skills
• Fluency with contact relationship management tools (HubSpot, NGP VAN, Salesforce)
• Experience managing sensitive information with professionalism and complete confidentiality
• Alignment with and excitement about Zinc Collective's mission to work toward persistent Democratic majorities

Compensation and benefits:

• Annual salary between $75,000 and $85,000
• Option to enroll in medical, dental, and vision coverage plans for both the primary employee and applicable dependents
