About the Role / Overview

Responsibilities / What You'll Do

  • Serve as primary administrator of Openlands' fundraising CRM (Salesforce), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency, and lead gift administration throughout the organization's transition from DonorPerfect to Salesforce
  • Partner with the Assistant Director and Director of Development to support annual fund strategy, segmentation, and campaign tracking, and develop/maintain donor lists for appeals, stewardship efforts, and cultivation initiatives
  • Work in close collaboration with the Finance team to reconcile gifts, pledges, and event revenue, and support preparation of financial and fundraising reports for leadership and board review
  • Support annual appeals, major campaigns, and fundraising events by preparing mailing lists, donor recognition lists, and performance reports in collaboration with the Communications team

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; 2-3 years of fundraising operations or development experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working in DonorPerfect and Salesforce (required), including gift processing, reporting, and data management
  • Strong understanding of gift acknowledgment standards and nonprofit financial reconciliation processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
