Development Associate

Core responsibilities:

• Curate and maintain the corporate sponsorship database, tracking engagement, benefits, and renewal timelines
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and explore additional fundraising opportunities, including leveraging tools like Double the Donation for matching gift programs
• Manage and maintain the organization's donor database, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all donor records, gift entry, and administrative tasks
• Prepare various development reports, including donor giving histories, campaign progress, and grant outcomes

This role supports fundraising efforts that enable Bridges Across Texas to carry out its mission of building bridges across diverse communities, creating positive social impact through community engagement and support.

Required qualifications:

• Respect, appreciation, and/or curiosity for ALL faith traditions, ideologies, and political leanings
• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in a development, fundraising, or administrative role within a non-profit organization
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency with a donor CRM system such as Bloomerang, BlackBaud, DonorPerfect, EveryAction, Bonterra, Neon, Kindful, Classy, Little Green Light, DonorDock, or similar platforms
• Strong research abilities, particularly in identifying and qualifying potential donors and funding opportunities
