Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Implement ALBA's current Development Plan and work to create a renewed Development Plan for the next five years (2026-2031)
  • Prospect large donors and build relationships with donors, including foundations
  • Contact small and medium donors, including phone calls and other direct outreach
  • Identify proposals (RFPs) and write and submit proposals and grant applications for ALBA
  • Maintain relationships with current donors to ensure transparency, strong relations, and continued funding
  • Develop and implement a communications strategy to support the organization's development goals
  • Actively manage social media platforms, including content creation – current platforms include Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Support and attend ALBA's programmatic and social events, and other events and programs related to ALBA's mission
  • Prepare development-related materials for internal and external audiences, including donor correspondence, reports, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, and other fundraising communications as needed
  • Establish goals, strategies, and metrics; track, analyze, and report on the performance of fundraising campaigns
