Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Assist with donor research, data entry, and donor database maintenance
  • Draft donor communications, including thank-you letters, newsletters, e-mail updates, and programmatic materials
  • Support the creation of content for e-mail and social media campaigns, and our website
  • Help prepare materials and logistics for fundraising events, webinars, and community outreach initiatives

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Passion for Healing Justice's mission and a strong interest in social justice, nonprofit development, or communications
  • Strong research capabilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and work remotely
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace preferred, experience with or willingness to learn donor databases, CRMs, or email marketing tools

What's in it for you

Compensation: $12-$15/hour depending on experience (part-time, up to 15 hours per week). School credit is also available. Healing Justice is closed the week of Christmas through January 1, and we anticipate at least a two-week break during the summer for this position.
