Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Create relevant 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings of various equipment, equipment integration, plant layout, structures, systems and/or components
- Perform a variety of design/drafting activities including preparing and updating manufacturing drawings
- Maintain system and model compatibility in X-energy's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and Plant Design Environments (PDE)
- Work closely with responsible engineers to develop mechanical/physical concepts, designs, and processes to create structures, systems and components

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree in drafting, CAD, engineering or related degree OR High School Diploma with relevant experience
- Typically ten years of experience in a CAD/3D drafter/designer role
- Experience using 3D CAD software (e.g. UG/NX, SolidWorks, PTC Creo/Pro-E, or similar)
- Experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (e.g. Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar)
