Design Engineer I/II – Structural

Core responsibilities:

• Create structural engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects
• Design concrete and steel foundations for project equipment to meet jurisdictional requirements across varying geotechnical conditions
• Perform design tasks on small projects or defined portions of larger projects
• Manage time efficiently across multiple concurrent projects and coordinate with project managers and internal stakeholders

This role contributes directly to the renewable energy transformation by supporting the design of utility-scale renewable energy projects, accelerating the global energy transition and fighting climate change.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or greater in Civil, Structural, Architectural or closely related Engineering field
• Foundational proficiency with AutoCAD for preparation and modification of engineering drawings
• Ability to read and understand site studies and geotechnical reports
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and ability to identify and solve routine engineering problems with guidance
