Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the overall management of ITER's integrated control system architecture (CODAC), ensuring alignment with project objectives, safety standards, and operational readiness
- Enable achievement of the Control and Integrated Commissioning Program objectives in terms of scope, cost, schedule, quality, and performance from design through commissioning
- Ensure sufficient support in overseeing project deliverables engineering, coordination, planning, and implementation with focus on Tokamak and plasma control systems
- Define and manage CODAC architecture and implementation plan, including ITER machine's interlock, protection and operation strategy

Required qualifications:
- Extensive experience in overall architecture, design, implementation, and commissioning of nuclear fusion device CODAC systems
- Knowledge of magnetic confinement fusion devices and related machine protection systems
- Technical project management in nuclear construction with multi-national collaboration, in-kind procurement, planning, risk management, and cost control
- Inclusive leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop staff in a multicultural environment
