Deputy Head of Rails

Core responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Rails and EC senior management in delivery and operations
• Build up and grow the headcount of the India team, including interviewing, selecting, and onboarding candidates
• Lead the team supporting Rail projects and develop technical solutions for a wide range of projects
• Collaborate with senior management to formulate strategy for Business Continuity and implement important policies and processes

This role contributes to the development and implementation of rail infrastructure projects, which can improve transportation systems, reduce environmental impact through efficient transit solutions, and support economic development through better connectivity.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong technical understanding of the Rail sector with experience in Rail Market overall
• Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills with ability to gain confidence of major clients
• Experience in UK, UAE, US, Canada, Middle East preferred
• Knowledgeable in rail design services, associated regulations, and technical standards
• Strong managerial acumen, business negotiation skills, and ability to introduce/improve processes
