Deputy Chief of People & Culture

• Lead all aspects of human resources functions including talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.
• Direct professional learning and coaching initiatives, integrating the Shared Humanity Framework and overseeing performance management frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic human capital strategies and policies that support the organization's mission and vision.

This role ensures that Digital Promise's people strategies are equitable and aligned with its mission to expand opportunity for every learner, fostering an inclusive culture that empowers employees to drive meaningful change in education.

• Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
• Expert knowledge of core HR operations including compensation, benefits, employment policies, compliance, payroll, recruiting, and performance evaluations.
• Experience designing and implementing organizational development programs such as career pathways, professional development, and competency modeling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.

Compensation: $167k–$188k (up to $209k for DC/NYC, up to $230k for California). Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, employer-sponsored 401(k), paid time off, and paid parental leave.
