Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chief of Party with program leadership, strategic planning, management, and quality assurance
  • Deputize for the Chief of Party during absences
  • Potentially handle day-to-day management issues depending on staffing structure
  • Support implementation of the USAID-supported Clap 4 Devolution project on closing gaps in devolved health service delivery

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 8 years' experience in project management
  • Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Economic Development, Public Management, Sociology, Community Development or related field
  • Minimum 5 years working in designing and implementation of development projects with emphasis on accountable governance, inclusion and participation
  • Prior experience supervising staff and short-term experts/consultants
  • Experience in implementing USAID supported projects and knowledge of USAID rules and regulations is an added advantage
