Mission

What you will drive

  • Build the campaign to restore voting rights for all Kentuckians with felonies in their past by connecting with impacted individuals and inviting them to join the campaign.
  • Practice leadership skills such as storytelling, event planning, 1:1 conversations, tabling, petitioning, fundraising, and membership recruitment.
  • Register voters and mobilize voters leading up to election day, including phone banking and distributing voter guides.

  • Must be a Kentuckian with a felony in their past (whether voting rights restored or not).
  • Committed to racial justice, equity, inclusion, and democracy; able to work with diverse communities.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, organized, and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Excited about public outreach, deep listening, and connecting with voters; coachable and eager to learn.

Benefits

What's in it for you

Part-time, 20 hours/week, $26/hour, plus $50/month cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement at $0.46/mile. Flexible schedule with some scheduled events. Paid orientation and weekly virtual training.
