Data Engineer, People Analytics

Core responsibilities:

• Build and maintain resilient ETL pipelines to centralize data from HCM and ATS systems into Google Cloud Platform, Big Query, and other people analytics products
• Architect a robust semantic data layer using dbt that translates raw database schemas into business-friendly logic, enabling non-technical leaders to ask natural language questions
• Leverage AI and LLMs to unlock insights from unstructured data and build predictive models for attrition and headcount planning
• Design and deploy high-impact Sigma workbooks that guide executives through complex narratives, ensuring data is acted upon

This role creates positive change by architecting and building the infrastructure powering the People Analytics team's insights and product suite, championing the use of practical AI and machine learning to modernize how we understand our workforce, and designing innovative workplace solutions that scale our culture.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Deep experience managing data in Google Cloud Platform and expert proficiency in Sigma or similar BI platforms
• Hands-on experience with HR/recruiting systems like Ashby and Rippling, understanding their API nuances and schemas
• Experience building semantic layers that create context based in business logic from raw data
• Experience or strong interest in applying AI/ML techniques (NLP, regression analysis, etc.) to people data
