Data Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Develop strategy and architecture for collecting, organizing and leveraging data
• Foster data engineering craftsmanship and mentor junior data engineers
• Build high quality data pipelines to power dashboards, business reports and machine learning models
• Work with external and internal data consumers to understand and predict their needs in terms of datasets

This role helps transform road freight through digital, electric and autonomous technologies, enabling businesses worldwide to accelerate toward their sustainability goals by building data infrastructure for electric transport systems.

Required skills and experience:

• Extensive experience working hands-on with real-world datasets
• Fluency in modern, cloud-native data engineering tools (SQL, BigQuery, dbt, Dagster, Google Pub/Sub)
• Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Java or Go
• Eagerness to champion data engineering best practices and guide colleagues in their adoption
