Data Engineer (4-month contract)

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Develop and optimize distributed data processing jobs using Python for large-scale data transformation.
• Architect and manage PostgreSQL schemas and query performance to support analytics and reporting.
• Monitor and improve data quality, freshness, and completeness through automated checks and observability.

This role accelerates the adoption of sustainable freight transportation by building reliable data systems that support autonomous electric trucks, reducing hazardous manual tasks and improving efficiency in distribution yards.

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong Python skills for pipeline development and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with distributed processing tools (e.g., AWS Athena, Apache Spark) and cloud infrastructure (AWS S3, EKS, Glue, Athena).
