Data Conversion Analyst

Core responsibilities:

• Participate in cross-functional project teams to transition clients from legacy systems and implement new fundraising platforms
• Lead client sessions on data mapping and provide best-practice consulting to both technical and non-technical resources
• Complete multiple test runs and final data conversions with accuracy and efficiency
• Analyze client needs and business processes to identify functional and technical requirements that align with their goals

This role helps nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions modernize their fundraising systems, enabling them to more effectively collect and utilize donor data to support their missions and create positive social change.

Required skills and experience:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience using SQL for data conversion, migration and transformation tasks
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or equivalent tools for development and debugging
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and experience with data management tools such as Salesforce or Blackbaud CRM
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Familiarity with nonprofit or higher education fundraising processes and data structures
