What you will drive
Data analysts support FRI research projects in a variety of ways, focusing on data management, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Most data analysts work across several projects concurrently, often contributing to experimental scientific work exploring how to improve forecasting methods, as well as applied work making use of forecasting methods to better understand important topics.
- Conducting descriptive and statistical analyses of data from forecasting surveys or experiments
- Developing high-quality data visualizations
- Helping to design experiments, with an emphasis on data collection and management, power analysis, and survey design
- Contributing to written reports and papers, particularly methods and results sections
