Customer Operations Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Onboarding & Implementation management: Own post-sales onboarding and technical implementation for new customers and partners.
• Technical support: Serve as the first point of contact for technical support questions from customers and partners.
• Process development: Design scalable systems for relationship management, onboarding, support, billing, and customer engagement; identify and implement process improvements that enhance customer experience and internal efficiency.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track product usage and performance metrics across customer segments to identify expansion opportunities, quantify impact, and surface insights for internal strategy and investor reporting.

This role accelerates the energy transition by helping customers and partners realize maximum value from Derapi's platform, enabling a more connected, flexible, and decarbonized grid.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; experience in the distributed energy sector preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in software project management, customer success, or sales operations, ideally in the electric power, distributed energy, or SaaS software.
• Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, and commercial teams in a dynamic startup environment.
• Self-starter with experience establishing processes and business functions from scratch.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data and product metrics to inform strategy, identify trends, and measure success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
• Passion for accelerating the energy transition and enabling a more connected, flexible, and decarbonized grid.
• Based in the United States with full work authorization.
