Corporate Engagement Lead - Brazil

Core responsibilities:

• Researching and building a database of food and retail companies' profiles, policies, and key contacts
• Hosting corporate meetings and preparing presentations to persuade companies to adopt animal welfare policies in their supply chains
• Consistently establishing permanent contact with key corporate contacts via emails, phone calls, and meetings
• Tracking, evaluating, and reporting progress of corporate commitments and policy implementation

This role creates positive change by negotiating corporate policies that reduce animal suffering in the food industry, specifically working to end intensive confinement practices for pigs in the pork industry, thereby promoting more compassionate food choices and building a world where no animals are exploited for food.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to build relationships with high-level stakeholders
• Understanding of corporate sustainability, ESG, or CSR concepts related to food systems and animal welfare
• Analytical capacity to evaluate corporate policies, sustainability reports, and supply chains
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced English language skills
