What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Support the Leadership Team in operational design and management, including financial planning, analysis, and projections
- Lead day-to-day operations of functional accounting oversight and management, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulations
- Manage reporting and financial analysis for monitoring agency financial health, including monthly/quarterly reports and variance analysis
- Support and sustain quality budgeting and forecasting, including annual operating budget preparation
- Provide leadership for all audit functions and federal grant maintenance, including policy development and external audit oversight

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- BS/BA in Accounting/Finance required, advanced degree required; CPA designation preferred
- Minimum 4 years of Controller/Finance Director level experience in a $3M-$6M nonprofit organization
- Additional 5+ years of progressive experience in general accounting with solid knowledge of GAAP nonprofit requirements
- Experience with federal funding, specifically 2 CFR 200 of the Code of Federal Regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial management software (QuickBooks preferred); experience with Salesforce, SAP Concur, Paylocity a plus
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission
Benefits
What's in it for you
Starting salary range: $102,000-$107,000 plus benefits. This is a full-time exempt position with remote work flexibility.
